Creative Commoners Debuts!

blog-debutHello readers/listeners! Creative Commoners, a weekly podcast discussion for regular folks looking to add a bit more creativity to their lives, has finally gone live after much work and planning. We had no idea what all would go into a production like this until we began, and there were a lot of kinks to work out, from finding the best way to record shows to get the best sound quality to even finding the perfect time for the three of us to record across three time zones in a way that is friendly to all our busy schedules. Luckily, the three of us are natural night owls.

Once those challenges were all ironed out, though, recording went off without a hitch, and it has been a blast putting this together for you. Major props to Chris for his stellar editing work (which has kept him up until the wee hours) and Corey, who has put together the website and handled the technical end of things. We three have known each other for a long time, and we work well together. This is likely thanks to our very long and arduous Starcraft campaigns of yesteryear. What’s a measly podcast when there are a billion Zerglings to kill? Ah, the Nineties.

The show will soon be available on iTunes, but for now, feel free to click on the player link in the post below. In our first episode, we tell you our “origin stories,” or in other words, our creative histories and how we got to where we are today as authors, artists, gamers, etc. Eventually, we hope to bring you the fans into the experience a bit more with fan questions, and perhaps even Super Special guests!

In the meantime, read our bios above so you can learn a little more about us, and don’t forget to Like us on Facebook and give us a follow on Twitter. You can also bookmark us here so you can stay up to date on all the happenings of the show. We hope what we have to say can be helpful, or at the very least entertaining! We’re actually kinda funny. No, really.
